The Point of Sale (POS) workflow extends your company's ability to sell goods in a retail environment. Point of Sale is an integrated workflow of the Order Entry system, therefore, two separate systems are not needed. The Order Entry system provides all of the features that you would expect to find in a point of sale or retail management product. Whether your retail environment is a counter in your location, or a chain of stores, the Point of Sale workflow will help you to manage and analyze your retail sales.

  • Easy access to on-line catalogs for special ordering
  • Integration to POS devices such as scanners, cash drawers, receipt printers, and credit card swipes

  • The ability to view inventory at the store level and at your other locations when necessary
  • Cash register management includes media totals for each Taken By operator and/or payment type at the end of each day to balance the payments taken in. The report can also be used as an auditing tool, as it reflects any adjustments made to order payments or down payments
  • Automatic change calculation-the system does the math for you
  • Flexible security arrangements including access control over each transaction for each clerk, and the ability to cause specific changes to require a store manager's authorization
  • Ability to suspend a transaction temporarily in order to work on another transaction
  • Multiple payment methods including cash, check, on-account billing, or credit card, or any combination of these
  • Signatures captured right at the counter with a signature capture pad. Signatures stored online for future review and reprints
  • Customized receipts can be printed from the POS register
  • Full integration with the entire SX.enterprise database for full financial tracking and reporting, inventory management, and sales analysis
  • Customer, inventory, sales, and financial data is stored in a central location
  • Flexible pricing including full access to customer special pricing from SX.enterprise
  • Tracking and accounting of inventory whether it's in a store or your location, so that an accurate picture of the goods on-hand can be viewed at any time
